Trail Signs and Programs

The most common way we find interpretive panels today are along trails. Everywhere communities are building trails and people are out walking, biking, and enjoying them.  Often these trails cut through and traverse scenic and interesting corridors.  Working with government and trail planners, panels can be strategically located to interpret the surrounding and increase the users awareness, appreciation, knowledge, and connection.

Beautiful and Influential

Our design approach considers all the details, especially the style and attractiveness of the presentation. Today’s consumer is largely driven by appearance.  Attention to detail ensures the message is as attention grabbing as possible, rewarding with content and not diminished by an over looked detail.

Expertise in Interpretation and Design

Interpretation is an art form and a science. Being good at it requires a  mix of knowledge, skill, and know-how. Educated as Industrial Designers, combined with the professional credentials as a Certified Interpretive Planners (CIP) and practical “real world” experience has proven to be a formula for success.

Results – Ensuring People “Get it”

When expecting results from an interpretive panel program, it is important to remember some basics about how visitors learn and remember information.

  • People learn better when they are actively involved.
  • People learn better when they are using as many senses as possible.
  • People will retain more senses are involved.

Touch and Listen

Wide Range of Topics

The interest and demand for a good story is timeless. People love a good story.  If presented and told well any topic can be universally well received.  Remember its not always what you say, but how you say it. Over the years we have interpreted all sorts of topics; fire trucks, airplanes, families, flood plains, and many forms of restoration.  The most common are local history and immediate natural surroundings.
